Warehouse B played against Lentern C this Saturday 18th April at the Warehouse Centre for the Semifinals of the Rosebowl Cup. A very close game with some excellent spells all throughout the match which went to deuce & was won by Warehouse B 5-4 in the final.
Oliver Podd and Bertie Makolli won the last game of the match 2-1 against the Lentern duo - Peter Lucraft & Ian Rattray taking the Warehouse B to the final of the Rosebowl Cup.

The Rosebowl Cup Final will be played this Wednesday 22nd April at the Rawreth TT Club between Warehouse B & Lentern C.

Rosebowl Cup Final 2009 - Lentern D Winners
 
Lentern D - Warehouse B 5-1
 
Warehouse B came up against well experienced players of the Lentern team Bill Wall and Reg Innes and didn't quite find their game and their confidence as Division 1 winners. Lentern in other hand showed a very good performance, read well the games and were very tactical in their serves.
Warehouse won only one of the doubles games while Lentern showed why they're the Division 2 champions and look forward to playing each other in Division 1 next winter league.
Congratulations to Bill, Reg and Wayne Farmer for winning the Cup. Also thanks to Jayne and Ken for preparing the teas and cakes, making this a nice evening at the Rawreth TT Club.
