Southend TT League Presentation Night & Dance Party, Rawreth - 15th July 2006

More trophies, more success, more entertaining.....

There was an excellent presentation night with dance party organised by the SDTTL Chairman Ken Field and the League Secretary Jayne Johnson at the Rawreth TT Club in Rawreth. More than 100 people turned up in a very entertaining event - the best of its kind in the SDTT League.
There were many players who have performed as champions in the 2005 -2006 season and they collected most of the trophies.
Josh Lovett won the Under 18's Singles medal, Restricted Mens Singles Runners up medal, Men's Singles Winners medal and Men's Doubles as runners up.
Linda Murray won the Ladies Singles medal, Ladies Doubles, Vets Singles, Vets Doubles and Mixed Doubles.Who's going to compete with Linda next season? Common Caroline, don't give up. Make the Warehouse Club smile because we had only runners up trophies this season.
Canvey TT Club and Rawreth TT Club collected so many trophies as they respectively won divisions 2,3 & 4 and Division 1 for Rawreth, also runners up in Division 1 & 4.

A full list of the medal winners will follow soon. To see the Presentation Night Photo Gallery please click here
For those who took part in the presentation party what do you think for this event?
Is Southend League getting more entertaining and what do you think about the winners of the last season?
