WAREHOUSE A IS QUALIFIED TO THE PREMIERSHIP DIVISION
From Jim Stait, Monday 16th April
Hadleigh Forum B - Warehouse A 3-6
Rawreth D - RESSC A 7-2
“Ever wondered why we had a record breaking hot weekend, why the hole in the ozone layer is getting bigger and why the Brazilian rainforest is becoming devastated! Then look no further than the Warehouse’s Malcolm Henstock.
Malcolm has systematically sought to deplete the earth’s rubber resources in his relentless weekly search and purchase of the perfect rubbers for his bat. However, Malcolm reverted to a 10 year old bat to produce his best performance of the season by winning a hat trick in the 6-3 victory over Hadleigh Forum in Div 1 which helped clinch promotion to the Premiership for the Warehouse A.
Malcolm’s team mates have now banned him from changing rubbers ever again. PLANET SAVED. Martin West also produced his customary hat trick assisting in the victory”.
Regards, Jim Stait
Jim Stait, Martin West, Malcolm Henstock & Berti Makolli - Warehouse A
An excellent performance in the last match of the season by the Warehouse A who needed just 4 points to secure a place in the Premier Division for next season. The 4 point distance was needed just in case the RESSC A get a whitewash 9-0 at Rawreth against their D team but as it turns up the Rawreth D team has won the match by 7-2.
Martin West was the top player for the Warehouse A winning 37 out of 41 games and piling up the hat tricks week in week out. Andrew Mackay, Jim Stait, Malcolm Henstock and Berti helped the team maintain the form and the results all throughout the season against very strong teams in Division 1.
Division 1 Winners: Lentern C 137 points
Runners up: Warehouse A 112 points
